Most people have a lot of questions before they begin their coaching relationship with me. Here I have made an easy way to find out the answers to my most frequently asked questions about coaching.
What is coaching?
Coaching is a tool that people use to live successful and extraordinary lives. Through weekly coaching sessions, my clients identify what is most important to them and align their thoughts, words, and action accordingly. As you are coached, I work with you to identify what you want personally and professionally. I support you in achieving a life that you really want and love.
How will you coach me?
As your coach I will encourage you to set goals that you really want. I will ask you do more than you may have done on your own; help you focus better in order to produce the results more quickly and provide you with the tools, support and structure to accomplish more.
Why would I need a coach?
Sometimes people have a difficult time creating a strategy to get what they want for themselves that are in line with their personal values and professional vision.
How is coaching different from therapy?
Coaching is not therapy, which goes into depth about various issues using analysis and interpretation usually dealing with the past. Coaching is not consulting which generally results in giving clients answers. Coaching is more action oriented and focuses primarily only the present and the future. As you coach I will enable you to determine your own "answers" through the work done in our coaching partnership.
What are the benefits of working with a coach?
You will reach for much, much more, because of the support and structure the I provide. You will start making and keeping more money and get on the path to financial independence. You will make better decisions because you can run your ideas by and objective listener.
How can I get the most from coaching?
Focus on what you really want.
Get to know yourself newly.
Double your level of willingness.
Come prepared to each coaching call.
What if I am having some objections to coaching?
Sometimes people fear trying new things to get better results or they feel they are unsure of what to focus on. If you're really too busy for a coach, consider why you are too busy. With a coaching partnership we can establish the perfect balance between home, work, and play. If money is an issue, consider that we all have money for what we really want and with our partnership we can stabilize cash from, handle debt, financial problems, and crises. Maybe you're not sure what you would work on with a coach. Consider your priorities, problems, challenges, what is zapping or draining your energy, or what upcoming opportunity may pass you by. Consider that a coaching partnership can help you learn to eliminate the hassles of life like problems, stress, and unfinished business.
Will you keep my privacy?
Our sessions remain completely confidential except where it is prohibited by law (your state, country and mine). Examples may include (but are not limited to): your intending future harm to yourself or another, your committing a crime, sexual harassment, or if I am subpoenaed to testify in court, ect. I strongly recommend that you speak with an attorney in your area regarding your rights under its laws concerning our coaching relationship.
How will you be available to me?
I will be available by our weekly telephone sessions. You can call or e-mail me at any time with respect to time limits during weekends and I will respond as set forth in the package you have selected.
What am I paying for?
In coaching, you are paying for information, advice support, collaboration, strategies, continuous presence, energy, creativity, availability, and partnership. Not necessarily just time or the number of coaching sessions. You can get as much value from ten minutes of coaching as you can from three hours of coaching. It all depends on timing, openness and synergy.
Why does coaching work?
Coaching works because of three features: Synergy: Client and coach become a team focusing on the client's goal and needs and accomplishing more than the client would alone. Structure: With a coach a client takes more actions, thinks bigger, and gets the job done, thanks to the accountability which the coach provides. Expertise: The coach knows how to make better decisions, set the best goals and restructure their professional and personal lives for the maximum productivity.
How does a coach do this?
Coaching is delivered during weekly sessions by telephone and/or in person, whichever one is more convenient. Clients bring an agenda of items to the call. The I help them to solve the problems and make the most of the opportunities. When they are taking on a large goal, I help the design of the project and provide the support and structure needed to make sure it gets done. I bring out the client's best by offering advice, expecting a lot, helping them strategize and celebrating the wins.
